Objective

Be able to

  • Administer security, access control and provisioning using the IAM Suite Console
  • Install and deploy Windows workstations
  • Debug typical configuration problems on workstations
Prerequisites
  • Knowledge of the Windows environment and TCP/IP networking.
  • The course is in English
Contents

The items covered include:

  • Basic IAM Suite architecture
  • Administration of IAM objects with the console
  • Installation and configuration of IAM Suite components on Windows server or stations
  • Definition of a delegated console
  • Configuration of the SSO engine (including advanced scripting)
  • Basic LDAP integration
  • Dynamic desktop configuration

The PKI/PKA (optional) items covered include

  • Key pair and certificate management
  • Key and certificate distribution
  • PKCS10 and PKCS11 Evidian plug-in installation and deployment
  • PK Authentication and crypto card management
Methods Presentation, hands-on
Duration 3 days, plus 1 extra day for the PKI/PKA option
