Evidian secures home banking in Italy

Tuesday, December 12th, 2006

Raiffeisen, a banking group of South Tyrol (Italy), has selected Evidian’s SAM Web in order to increase the security of their home banking applications.

Raiffeisen needed to secure access to some home banking applications through a reverse proxy. This access had to be integrated with a proprietary one-time-password solution. The SAM Web pilot has convinced Raiffeisen that Evidian products are simple to implement and will effectively enforce its access security policy. Another important criteria was the modularity of Evidian’s range of products, as Raiffeisen plans to implement other security modules.

For more information on securing remote web access, consult the Evidian white paper.

Use single sign-on for compliance

Monday, December 4th, 2006

We are witnessing a shift in the reasons for considering single sign-on. Make no mistake, many single sign-on (SSO) purchases are still motivated by productivity concerns. New generic connector for customized provisioning and de-provisioning

Friday, November 17th, 2006

In provisioning projects, a single administration point makes it possible to manage user accounts in hundreds of applications. Evidian now offers a new LDAP-based generic connector to manage accounts in applications for which no connector is available.

As the new Evidian generic connector is LDAP-based, it is not necessary any more to install an agent locally, which greatly simplifies the maintenance of applications. In addition, this solution improves the flexibility of user provisioning tasks, making them more customizable.
