Evidian positioned in Challengers quadrant for web access management
PARIS – Evidian, the European leader in identity and access management, announced today that Gartner, Inc. has placed it in the challengers’ quadrant in the new 2009 “Magic Quadrant for Web Access Management”. Gartner’s report analyses the web access management market and evaluates 11 solutions. Quadrant positions are based on each vendor’s ability to execute and completeness of vision.
Evidian Web Access Manager makes it possible to securely open up an organization’s web applications to the internet, from any web browser or smartphone. After initial login through a portal, via password or strong authentication, the users access the web resources he or she is authorized to use.

Evidian Web Access Manager is a low-footprint solution designed for practical deployment of secure, remote web access in enterprises. Corporate web applications are not modified.
Evidian Web Access Manager shares single sign-on information with Evidian Enterprise SSO, so employees can move freely from their office PC to external browsers while retaining secure and transparent access. Evidian Enterprise SSO received a positive rating in Gartner’s report entitled “MarketScope for Enterprise Single Sign-On” in 2009.
