Securing the workplace of the future
The digital workplace is a key component of the successful digital transformation of companies and organizations. The professional user expects cross-device, mobile, flexible and easy-to-use workplace solutions. IT and cybersecurity technologies, in particular, need to respond to this user-centric approach.
At it-sa 2018, Europe’s largest IT security fair, taking place from 9 – 11 October in Nuremberg, Atos will present a demo scenario for a secure workplace at booth 10.1-608. A project manager wants to check his messages at home in the morning or while travelling on his personal device using mobile Single-sign-on and Hoox, the secure mobile phone by Atos. At the office with the help Evidian IGA (Identity Governance and Administration) a new team member easily gets access to different networks – matching his roles. As the project is staffed not only by internal team members, but also with partners, a WAM (web access management) solution is used to grant external users access to selected information. A Security Operation Center is permanently monitoring the company IT infrastructure in the background. Using for example data loss prevention tools the security experts control the use of critical documents to prevent unauthorized copies and transfers.
