Evidian Laptop Protection

Laptop Protection is one of the optional Evidian Data Privacy components. It serves a dual function:

Protect the workstation
Protect sensitive information

Administration can be centralized or performed locally.

Evidian Laptop Protection secures workstations against unauthorized access. To access a secured workstation, read encrypted files or encrypt new files, a user must first unlock the workstation, using either a key stored on a removable medium (smartcard, USB key,...) or a password.

Evidian Laptop Protection is a purely software solution for Windows XP and Windows 2000. No additional hardware is required.
