Evidian announces “Ready-To-Go SSO”, an entry edition of its single sign-on software
LONDON, Infosecurity Europe – Evidian, the European identity and access management leader, announced today the availability of Ready-To-Go SSO, an entry edition of its Enterprise SSO single sign-on software that accelerates SSO deployments in organizations.
The Ready-To-Go SSO edition includes the same core features as the Enterprise SSO edition in IAM Suite 8, and enables a low-footprint installation in Microsoft environments. A guided configuration process makes it possible to implement the solution very quickly from any point in the enterprise network.
Ready-To-Go SSO can be installed and configured in a few minutes, and used rapidly afterward. Installing the software does not require any change in the Active Directory schema. The solution does not modify the Windows login or the applications.
The solution can be installed on either existing or dedicated servers. Integrated redundancy mechanisms ensure high availability of single sign-on features.
Any person tasked with reinforcing user access control to applications becomes rapidly operational with the administration console. Several pre-defined models and field-tested implementation examples assist administrators.
The Ready-To-Go SSO edition is specifically designed for organizations with from a few hundreds up to several thousands employees. It includes market-leading single sign-on features. If in the future a perimeter change requires it, the solution can be easily upgraded to the full Enterprise SSO edition. Upgrading provides Linux/Unix support and direct use of the infrastructures of Active Directory or other directories.
Just like the full Enterprise SSO edition, the Ready-To-Go SSO edition makes it considerably easier to comply with standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001 or laws regarding health data confidentiality. Security procedures are enforced by user access control to enterprise resources. The solutions stores a history of all access attempts and administration operations in a central point, which facilitates audits, analyses and report delivery.
Evidian Ready-To-Go SSO is available now on Windows Server environments. It makes it possible to deploy SSO on Windows XP and Vista PCs as well as Windows servers.
